The Parade assembles in Wells Close and proceeds through Werrington village, ending at Werrington Primary School, where the fete takes place on the school playing fields.
Anyone can take part, you just need to turn up in fancy dress or with a decorated vehicle. Judging takes place at 1.00pm and then the parade starts at 1.30pm.
The categories for fancy dress and decorated vehicles are as follows:

Fancy Dress
1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes awarded:
Under 5 years old for individuals or up to a group of 5
5 years old and over for individuals or up to a group of 5

Non-Uniformed Groups
1st and 2nd trophies awarded for:
Best non-uniformed decorated vehicle
1st and 2nd trophies awarded for:
Best non-uniformed walking tableau which should consist of more than 6 people

Uniformed Groups
1st and 2nd trophies awarded for:
Best Scout or Guide Unit decorated vehicle
1st and 2nd trophies awarded for:
Best Scout or Guide walking tableau
